Children love magic. They
often come up to me after a show to see more tricks
or ask how they're done. It's the perfect treat for
their inquisitive minds!
I work my routine around variables
such as age group (I work with children aged 4 and up)
size of venue, and the venue's location. Luckily magic
is pretty flexible, and whatever or wherever the occasion,
it always delivers.
My aim is to engage the children's
minds and share with them my love of magic, be it simple
or spectacular. Rather than boisterous humour which,
I find, tends to stir kids up a bit and excludes the
shy ones, I keep the pace gentle, giving the children
time to react to each joke/trick, and to take everything
in. Some of the tricks revolve around stories
some
I link together to ensure fluidity. It's all about keeping
their attention, making them laugh, and making them
wonder.
My routine includes:

Rope and ring magic. |

 |
